Back in 1981 when I entered the Chiropractic profession as a solo practitioner it was my goal to one day provide a facility that could satisfy the many needs of the clients served. After practising for 5 years with a group of independent chiropractors the move to Bellwood Plaza provided an opportunity for growth towards a more complete clinic.
Bellwood Chiropractic Centre saw many changes over time. The clinic incorporated associate chiropractors and massage therapists. Practitioners came and went but the concept of a health focussed, multi-disciplinary practice remained the vision.
In 2007, after 21 years at Bellwood Plaza, the move was made to 497 Oxford St. East and Back to Health Chiropractic was born. The immediate goal was to grow our service so that a more comprehensive skill set would be available for our current and future clients. Since the inception of Back to Health Chiropractic new doctors of chiropractic have joined our team bringing with them new and different approaches to the health challenges faced by those we serve. New massage therapists have enhanced access to that service.
Chiropractic, acupuncture, registered massage therapy, kinesiology, custom foot orthotics, advanced soft tissue techniques, and rehabilitative exercise are now available at Back to Health Chiropractic. Collaborative care with other health care professionals is ongoing and growing as people learn about the evidence based, multi-faceted approach our team utilizes.
I am proud to have built the team of caring individuals who make our clinic what it has become. Our reception staff are the best there is and that’s where your experience starts at Back to Health Chiropractic. I am excited by the joy experienced by those I work with as they are able to relieve clients of their pain and restore their health.
