Dr. N. James Harvey

It’s all about Health and Healing. One of the greatest highs in my world is the joy I get from my clients as they enter Back to Health Chiropractic and progress from the symptom focused person to a health conscious being. My chiropractic story started just like most. As a teen I was an accident prone athlete and since my parents were regular chiropractic patients they knew who they needed to care for me. I quickly progressed from pain relief to higher levels of health and performance. I no longer seemed injury prone.

That was it for me! I knew then that I not only wanted to incorporate chiropractic as part of my regular health regime but I had to become a chiropractor. After graduating from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Science degree, I attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. Upon graduation my wife and I knew that we wanted to live in and serve the London community. London has been a wonderful city to raise my three children and although my daughters have moved far from home, I am extremely happy that my son, Dr. Chris not only chose to become a Chiropractor but also chose to return to London and join Back to Health Chiropractic.

It has been my pleasure and privilege to contribute to the health of thousands of Londoners since 1981. I am a lifelong learner and regularly update my knowledge base and skill set so that I am best able to care for you. Along with the many courses that I have taken, I have extensive formal study in the area of Rehabilitative Sciences and I have been certified by The American Board of Forensic Professionals for Impairment and Disability Rating ( AMA Guidelines, 4th edition ).

Every person who enters Back to Health Chiropractic is an individual with their own personal concerns. My goal as your doctor is to listen to your concerns, discuss your options, and then move forward together towards make sense, viable solutions. Whether you require chiropractic adjustment, soft tissue therapy, rehabilitative exercise, laser therapy, or custom foot orthotics call today and make an appointment or submit your request online. I would be pleased to sit down a consult with you at no charge. If you chose to move forward, our team at Back to Health Chiropractic will make your journey back to health worth your commitment.

Dr. Shawna Green

The best part about my job is to watch a patient return to the activities they love after an injury or condition has left them without proper joint and muscle function.  My goal is to give people customized care that allows them to start moving and taking part in family, recreational and work related activities again. After completing an honours degree in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa, I continued my studies at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto and graduated in 2004. A move to London in 2009 brought me to Back to Health and where I have had the privilege to treat so many wonderful people and offer not only chiropractic care, but also acupuncture and myofascial release therapy. As a mother of two very active little boys I am particularly busy treating other women who are keeping active and fit as well as pregnant women who want to maintain a healthy spine and a high activity level throughout their pregnancy. I strive to ensure each patient understands their injury and what they can do at home to improve healing times through exercise therapy and dietary changes.

Chiropractic care is an all-natural approach to so many conditions from athletic injuries to repetitive strain conditions it is no wonder people return for ongoing care. If you have been dealing with a chronic condition or have an athletic injury limiting your performance, contact our office for a consultation to see if chiropractic care, laser therapy or acupuncture could help.

Dr. Chris Harvey

If we eat healthy and nutritious food, exercise and move our bodies, and think healthy thoughts, we become healthy individuals. This is the Chiropractic lifestyle. I love watching patients learn the lifestyle/philosophy, stop making excuses, and start healing themselves from the inside out!

Growing up in a Chiropractic family was amazing and inspiring. Every day I got to see what life was like feeling truly healthy, rarely if ever getting sick, and getting over any ailment faster than any of my friends. Playing competitive sports was hard on my body, from the workouts before and after the games, the body checks on the ice, the 100 plus pitches thrown in a complete game, and being able to play a round of golf pain free hitting 300 yard drives (albeit not always straight). I knew after receiving Chiropractic adjustments all my life, I wanted to help people the way my father helped me.

When I heard about Palmer College of Chiropractic and how it was the first ever Chiropractic college in the world, I had to visit and see what it was all about. It was rich with history dating back to 1897, and the philosophy was written on the walls above every doorway; I knew it was for me. I packed my bags and moved to Davenport, Iowa to attend the school of my dreams, not knowing what was in store for the next 5 grueling years. After completing the first 4.5 years, I decided I deserved a reward for my accomplishment. I applied to the Clinic Abroad Program to go to Vietnam and work in the hospitals alongside their doctors to diagnose, treat and adjust patients. I think I could write a novel about my experiences there, but I’ll leave the stories for later. When you see me at the office just stop and ask me about it, I would enjoy sharing. What I will say is that I went to Vietnam a Chiropractic student and I came back a Doctor of Chiropractic.

After graduating, finishing my American and Canadian national board exams, and changing my mind a thousand times about where I was going to start working, I’ve landed back home. Working with the people that inspired me to dream big, to work hard and love what I do.
